Hi all,
Apologies for such a basic question but the more I read on drupal modules the more I get confused.
I would like to stream videos off Youtube and Vimeo and images off flickr on my website.
Aesthetics but also simplicity are really important for what I do so I need two modules that display content in a nice way - if that makes any sense at all.
I particularly like simpleviewer ( http://www.airtightinteractive.com/photos/ ) and I remember there was a module for Joomla I liked called morpheoshow so I think I need something similar.
Finally, I would like to create my own tags for those images and videos, if possible, so that users can search.
Any ideas/thoughts?

Checkout the http://drupal.org/project/emfield module. The swftools module integrateds simpleviewer with imagefields, but I'm not sure how that would fit in with flickr. There are several flickr modules available-- perhaps try some of them.
Aesthetics are simply a matter of theming. I would select the method for presenting your content first, then theme the results as desired.
