I'm doing a website and am trying to aggregate other news feeds into the sidebar of my site. It works perfectly under the admin login, but I can't seem to get it to work under anonymous or authenticated. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the module, ticking all the boxes for user visibility and moving it around to various blocks. Nothing seems to work.

Any ideas?

The content of your feeds: category and source will show if you want it to show up in one page - you can create a page with all feeds. If you want it to show up on the sidebar, you have to create a block and enable it. In the block settings, you can enable anonymous, authenticated, and admin to be able to view them.

I have feeds on my site that shows up on the left sidebar and also on a feed section.

The Daily Zen Quotes are feeds. And also if you go to my Feeds section, your visitors will also be able to access the other collection of feeds by clicking category or sources.

Hi,

Have you set the permission above for every role? Include anonymous?

Figured it out after playing around. I tried changing the permissions on the block to no avail. I had to go into Home >> Administer >> User Management >> Permissions in order to give permission to anonymous, authenticated roles (and custom "contributor" role) for the Feed aggregator module.

Thanks for the tips

Hello,

I am new to feeds in Drupal, I am also facing this issue.

In my case feed items are rendering properly for admin users but for anonymous users it shows old items.

I tried by giving access permission for "View news feeds" in Aggregator group in permission page to anonymous user but still did not got any success.

Any suggestions please.

Regards,
Ajay
