I'm trying to add the google maps to the contact form in the Website, but it is not working. I have followed the instructions from this blog http://www.norio.be/blog/2008/01/adding-google-map-drupals-contact-form and everything works fine, except that in contact page what I still get is the code of the macro instead of the actual map taht should be shown. The only part I haven't done is installing the KEYS module, but since it works with the cotnet pages I don't think that would be a solution for me.

Any idea?

i have excatly the same problem.. and im really going to be crazy. there is nothing left that i did not try. i have tried gmap blocks module even. no result. i need a google maps in contact page which shows how to reach spesific office adress. only the thing what i get a macro lines under the additional information.. thanks in advance

edit: topic is so old but there is no answer at all? am i missing something? is there anybody who could help?

Why does not the gmap in a block work? There was an error 'js is required to view this map' but you do not say that is your problem. You just say 'no result' which does not really say much about the problem. Do you mean you cannot see the block? You can see the bock with no map? You can see the map with no marker? or something else?

There are possible workarounds. For example you might use a Webform for the contact form, then create a view for the user location from User Location module (or for a location created with location cck, though this has a bug on user pages). Then you can create a gmap with a View for the user, and attach it to the Webform contact form using Eva module or Views Reference module, or you can show it in a block, on the Webform page, and you can use Contextual Filters / Arguments to ensure the Views Gmap outputs the correct result for the page. Fiddly to set up but it should work.

gmap blocks module worked very well but not on the contact page. whenever i try to choose: show on only listed pages (/?q=contact) option and refresh everything (doesn't matter which block i choose) it doesn't appear in the blocks. btw i am so very beginner myself. i am really sorry for my half explanation and im so grateful for fast respond. thank you so much..

edit: problem about gmap blocks is not only on contact page. when i try to show it on specific pages it does not work

With any block set it to show on just concact or contact/*
What to enter:
WRONG /?=contact
WRONG /contact
RIGHT contact
without anything in front of it
