Problem/Motivation
My organisation would like to rely on this module in our standard build because it makes it easy to add the BugHerd embed to both the front-end and admin themes with permission control. I therefore have a vested interest in this module.
I maintain numerous modules and ensure test coverage is added and standards are followed to help keep them easier to maintain and more stable. You can see my profile here: https://www.drupal.org/u/scott_euser
Contributions
Keen to get the module to be drupal 11 compatible #3507118: Fatal error in Drupal 11 on SettingsForm
Then my next step would be to add automated test coverage + monthly gitlab CI pipeline to ensure future compatibility is caught early (e.g. Drupal 12 switch to OOP hooks)
Proposed resolution
Would like to be co-maintainer to help maintain this module.
Remaining tasks
- Contact the maintainers:
- https://www.drupal.org/u/phjou - messaged May 1st, 2026
- https://www.drupal.org/u/skwashd - no contact form, cannot see how to contact
- Decide and grant if decision is yes

scott_euser commentedHere is the project in question: https://www.drupal.org/project/bugherd
It has been two weeks without reply here or via slack (where I contacted 'phjou'). The other maintainer 'skwashd' I could not find contact info for.
Thanks for the consideration.

avpadernoskwashd last logged in more than two years ago; phjou does not have the Administer maintainers permission.
I made scott_euser co-maintainer, as requested.
