As the critical core issue (#75924: Include fields for resetting password on the one-time password reset page) shows, this is a very important module, until the issue is fixed in core.
Currently it seems that the maintainers of this module are not very active and several issues are RTBC'd since months.
For that reason, I'd like to offer my help as maintainer for this module.
See my profile for references, if you don't know me :)

anybodyLooking at https://www.drupal.org/project/prlp/maintainers.json
Are allowed to administer maintainers. Recently a maintainer has been active, but I didn't get a reply on this issue (which was still in the modules issues at that time).

avpadernojitesh doshi and ccrawford91, who are the only people with the Administer maintainers permission, logged it at least once this year. I am going to contact them.
avpadernoThis is the first message I sent (to the project owner).
I am still contacting the second maintainer.

avpadernoThe status is Postponed because we are waiting for a reply.
Please post a comment after 14 days, if your offer has not been declined. It will show you are still interested in maintaining this project and it will serve as reminder that a project moderator's action is required.

jitesh doshi commentedI see two issues from user @anybody on PRLP. First one was fixed by @ccrawford91 10 days ago. And second one was fixed just now by me.
Do we still need to add him as maintainer?

anybodyHi and thank you very much for the reply!
@jitesh doshi it's just an offer from my side due to previous inactivity. You and the other maintainers decide, if you'd like to take my help as maintainer or not.
Thank you very much for this great module anyway!

ccrawford91 commentedHey @anybody,
The module is marked as feature complete so we admittedly don't do a lot of updates nowadays besides security and core compatibility fixes.
I've gone through the outstanding open issues and have taken action on all marked as needs review and RTBC. Once the last outstanding one is confirmed I'll be making a new release.
Jitesh and I appreciate your offer, but I think we're fine maintaining things on our own. If something changes in the future we'll reach out to you.

anybodyThanks for the feedback @ccrawford91 - feel free to reach out to me and the DROWL team at any time! :) Thank you for the wonderful work here!
The modules functionality belongs into core IMHO ;)
