avpadernoAs site moderator, you can remove maintainers from a documentation guide, for example going to https://www.drupal.org/group/node/3447960/admin/people.
In that case, you are the group manager and the only maintainer, which means you are the owner of the documentation guide. For that documentation guide, you need to change the owner to System Message in https://www.drupal.org/node/3447960/edit (the Authoring information vertical tab which, for that documentation guide, shows Authored by: quietone). After than is done, you can remove the maintainer from https://www.drupal.org/group/node/3447960/admin/people.

avpadernoI am looking for a documentation guide without maintainers to confirm System Message is the correct account to use as owner to remove an existing documentation maintainer who is also group manager.
avpadernoYes, that is the correct account to use.
Just to make clearer how to reach https://www.drupal.org/group/node/3447960/admin/people, I will add some screenshots.
avpadernoThe edit form takes a bit to be loaded; it will take a little of time, to handle all those documentation guides.
avpadernoJust a last comment: I started handling those documentation guides starting from the bottom of that list. The next documentation guide to check is Agenda.
