Create a logo that is 512x512 square dimension in PNG format without animations. Suggested file size should be 10k or less. Use a lossy image tool (such as pngquant) to reduce file size while keeping the image quality at around 80%.
MAINTAINERS: The logo should be added to the root folder of the repo, and be named logo.png. This must be present on your project’s default branch. This is the logo that will be displayed on the cards in the Project Browser grid and list views.
If you previously added a logo as the first image in the Images field on your project page, please remove it. Project Browser will no longer be using the first image as the logo.

deborahblessy commentedHi @e0ipso,
Here I have created logo for warmer module. Please review and post your comments.

bramdriesenI think the logo has a bit too much going on. Also the text "warmer" will get a bit lost when you have the image as a small icon.
Cache is usually displayed as a database icon, I think we should start from that and incorporate a flame or something. I.e. I really like this one: https://www.cache-warmer.com/
In the end it's all personal preference, but I think this one can really be improved :)

lostcarpark commentedI agree with @BramDriesen, I think there are too many fine lines in the current suggestion.
Personally, I try to avoid including the name of the module in the logo, since it's on the module card anyway.
Also, the image needs to be 512x512 pixels. It is currently 200x200.
@deborahblessy, are you interested in working on this further?

urvashi_vora commentedI would like to work on this, since there is no update from past 3 days.

urvashi_vora commentedPlease review.
Thanks

bramdriesenI like 1 better. But I still don't have the idea by just looking at the logo that this is for a cache warmer.
lostcarpark commentedI think you have the basis of a great idea in 1 (though it does look a bit like my local gas company logo).
How about adding a database icon, which the licking around it?
I've taken your logo and done a quick mock up, reducing the flame, and adding a database. I shrunk the flame to fit the database icon. However, I made a Drupal drop a little bigger to make a little more room. I made the database white because I didn't want to overload the logo with too many colors, but it could be any color. Don't feel you have to follow this exactly, it's just a suggestion.
Thanks for your work on this.

bramdriesenHaha exactly 😅 it doesn't give the idea it's for a "Drupal Cache warmer" module.
I think your mock-up indeed is more the way we should go. Looking forward to the edits from one of the designers 😉
Comment #13
urvashi_vora commentedSure @lostcarpark, I got the idea, will upload a logo soon.
urvashi_vora commentedPlease review. Included drop, database and the flame.
Thanks

lostcarpark commentedPreview of #14.
Looks great. I'm in two minds about whether the flame should be in a circle. @BramDriesen, what do you think?
bramdriesenThis looks great! Maybe one small remark, I feel like the drop is squished a bit horizontally. For the rest I really like this one!
urvashi_vora commentedHi,
I am providing two more versions with a different drop. Please review.
Thanks
Comment #18
bramdriesenI like one!
e0ipsoI love it! Thank you so much! I am going to go with warmer-logo-1.png.

bramdriesenI'm triaging issues for the project browser initiative. This can be set to fixed as the logo has been committed, listing this on slack so a maintainer here can double check issue credits.
