Problem/Motivation
Create a short description (200 characters or less) that will be easily understood by the Project Browser target audience of site builders and those new to Drupal. The short description should answer the question - "what does this module do in a non-technical way".
https://www.drupal.org/project/inline_entity_form
For module maintainers = the short description should be added to the Summary field off the Body on the project page. The short description
will be displayed on the cards in the Project Browser grid and list views.
Please work on the short description in the comments of this issue. When a consensus is reached, the agreed short description should be placed under Proposed Resolution.

lostcarpark commentedWe, the mentoring team, are triaging issues for first time contributors at DrupalCon Lille and I think this is a good issue for the contribution day.
We are reserving this issue so please don't work on this issue if you are not at DrupalCon Lille. You can continue the work when the event is over.

leslieg commentedThis seems like a good combination of both suggestions: "Provides a widget on content entry forms for inline management (creation, modification, removal) of referenced content (entities)."
Note - this is the first suggestion- it was added only to the Proposed resolution in the summary which I have replaced with the most recent suggestion. "Offers a widget for managing related entities within a primary entity form. Ideal for parent-child relationships. Supports referencing existing entities.

chrisfromredfinI think trying to get away from Drupalisms like "entities" might make it better. I propose:
"Provides a way to edit related content on the same form where the relationship itself is managed."

leslieg commentedAgree with suggestion. Updating summary and moving to RTBC
