Create a logo that is 512x512 square dimension in PNG format without animations. Suggested file size should be 10k or less. Use a lossy image tool (such as pngquant) to reduce file size while keeping the image quality at around 80%.
MAINTAINERS: The logo should be added to the root folder of the repo, and be named logo.png. This must be present on your project’s default branch. If you have a logo as the first image in the Images field on your project page, please remove it. The logo will be displayed on the cards in the Project Browser grid and list views.
Proposed resolution
Both this new logo and a re-sized version of the logo on drupal.org are available to choose from.

volkswagenchickWill you update both logos?
urvashi_vora commentedHi @volkswagenchick,
Yes, I have updated both logos with latest icon of twitter.
volkswagenchickI like add-to-any-logo-2.png, but the logos are too close to the edge and some seem pixelized.
urvashi_vora commentedModified the logo, please verify.
Thanks
Comment #9
volkswagenchickI might be mistaken but this new logo is only 350x350 and the requirements are 512x512.
I do like this last logo in comment #8 more than the others FWIW
Comment #10
urvashi_vora commentedHi @volkswagenchick,
The image is 512x512 only, as I have used the canvas of the similar size for designing the logo, also I have cross-verified it using an online tool (posterburner.com and imageonline.co) as well as the image property of the file.
Attaching screenshots.
Please review.
Thanks
Comment #11
urvashi_vora commentedAlso, when we open the image in new tab from drupal.org, we can see the image attributes (height:512px and width:512px), also cross-verified the same and attaching the screenshot.
volkswagenchickOff when I open the inspector it is 359x359....Am I not looking at the right thing?
Thanks
Comment #13
urvashi_vora commentedIt's quite unusual! Perhaps it's related to the screen resolution. Would you consider checking it using an online tool?
Alternatively, we could wait for someone else to validate this. I've personally tested it using various methods, and the output seems accurate on my end.
omkar-pd commentedIt's changing due to the inspector. If we dock the inspector to the right or in a new window we can see it's 512 x 512. Check screenshots.
urvashi_vora commentedThanks @omkar-pd for confirming. I was assuming the same.
@volkswagenchick I am using laptop resolution and as I change the percentages for responsiveness, the image dimensions get changed in the inspector. I am attaching a couple of screenshots to explain the issue better.
As you can see, although I have changed the dimension, but when I hover on the tab, it shows me original dimension i.e. 512x512.
Thanks

urvashi_vora commentedThanks to "Dan Shelton" for tweaking the image from 96dpi to 72dpi.
Uploading. Please review.
Thanks

lostcarpark commentedI think the problem is likely to be the use of the browser's "inspect" function, and in some cases the inspect panel will squeeze the image and force it to scale. In that case the scaled size will be shown rather than the true size, so if using inspect to check, make sure the image is showing at full size.
I don't think altering the DPI is necessary.
I'll prepare previews of the logos later, but I'd have a slight concern about how the many logos in a circle will look at smaller sizes.
urvashi_vora commentedHi @lostcarpark,
Please review these logos.
Thanks

urvashi_vora commentedComment #20
lostcarpark commentedSorry for the the delay in looking at this. @urvashi_vora has created an impressive selection of options.
Starting with an older one:
I like this one. It's simple and pretty clear. Obviously the Twitter logo needs updating. However it has a clear background, and on dark themes the + sign gets a bit lost. Would it be possible to put the + on a light grey background? I think it would be nice to keep a transparent background separating the boxes.
I like the concept of the logos in a circle, but I feel there too many elements and they are too small.
This one is nice, and I like the idea of more generic sites rather than specific site logos.
This one makes me think of jellyfish. I'm not sure it works as website proxies. However I think I prefer the + on this one to the previous one. So maybe combining the + from this with the speech bubbles from the previous one would be worth a try.
As a design this one looks quite nice, but I'm not really sure what any of the elements represent (except the Drupal logo), so I don't think it really works.
Of these, the first one is my favourite. If the points I mentioned could be fixed, I think it would be spot on.
Confirming that all images are PNG files, the dimensions are 512x512 pixels, and the files are under 10K.

urvashi_vora commentedHi @lostcarpark,
I worked on the suggestions.
Please review.
Thanks
Comment #22
lostcarpark commentedThanks for the quick work, @urvashi_vora!
I think this one is the best. I think the combination of social media logos with the plus sign makes it very clear, and everything is a reasonable size. This gets my +1.
I think this one is good too. I do think having more generic site icons instead of specific logos has merit, but it does inevitably make it a bit more abstract.
If we can get a few more votes, we should be able to move RTBC.

jwilson3I dont understand why this isn't just using an adaptation of the official AddToAny logo which is already uploaded to the Drupal project page:
https://www.drupal.org/files/project-images/drupal-addtoany-logo.png
All it needs is to be resized and cropped to 512x512 square.
leslieg commentedThat's a good point @jwilson3. Looks like they were attempting to make a single representation of the two images on the drupal.org module page
Let's let the module maintainers determine if they like this proposed new logo. Otherwise we'll have to resize the plus sign logo that's on the module page now.
leslieg commented@lostcarpark. what are your thoughts on changing the gray background on the plus sign to the color on the current drupal, org module page? If that can happen on on https://www.drupal.org/files/issues/2023-09-06/add-to-any-logo-1.png then I'm +1 on that logo moving forward for maintianer review.
urvashi_vora commentedHi,
I have updated both the preferred logos, the + with module's color background and the original logo in 512X512 dimensions.
Please review.
Thanks
Comment #27
leslieg commentedThanks @urvashi_vora I'll send both versions from #26 to the maintainer to select from.
Moving to RTBC
