Problem/Motivation

The meaning of Project Usage is not necessarily clear for everyone. It was mentioned during the discussion that the word initially threw one off, questioning what does Project Usage actually mean. Also the word Project in Project Usage is kind of unnecessary. So potentially Usage might be enough, clearer and more explicit on its own. As an alternative Installs was suggested which would pick up the term Active Installs used in the module cards.

For the record the issue was identified and initially discussed during #3312892: Drupal Usability Meeting 2022-10-07. The issue has a link to the recording of the meeting. The attendees were @AaronMcHale, @benjifisher, @narendraR, @rkoller, @shaal, @simohell, @srishtiiee, @Utkarsh_33, and @worldlinemine.

Steps to reproduce

Go to /admin/modules/browse and click the Sort by-select element.

Proposed resolution

Decide which term to use (either Usage or Installs) and then change the word Project Usage to the selected term
