I have searched quite a bit but I can't find any information on creating conditional fields / field dependencies in CCK with Drupal 6. Basically, I am trying to create a content type with select list drop-down fields. If a certain option is chosen in the first drop-down, the next select list field is populated with relevant options. Is there any way to achieve this?

Also, is there a way to keep a field completely hidden unless a certain option is selected?

Very interesting. Content Taxonomy looks like it will solve another need and gives me an idea for filtering terms from a single vocabulary based on different content types. Perhaps conditional fields are not needed. Thanks!

Hierarchical Select looks good but it is only Drupal 5.
