• Organizing the API first/Headless CMS Track at WeAreDevelopers World Congress
• Open Minds Award and Open Source Ball Vienna 2017 & 2018 - Initiated and organised the Austrian Open Source Award and we had a Ball afterwards (It was not as traditional like well known Austrian Ball, but it was great fun with 3 Bands, etc) and we managed to get the major CMS communities form Austria together (Drupal, Wordpress, Joomla, Neos, Typo3) and also the Community of Open Hardware, Open Knowledge, … openminds.at
• "Non Drupal related" I help to organise Codeweek Events as an CodeWeek Europe Ambassador (Codeweek is a grassroots initiative of the European Commission, which aims to bring coding and digital literacy to everybody in a fun and engaging way… https://codeweek.eu/ambassadors?country_iso=AT
• Also I am the initiator of drupical.com and currently in the stage of getting a new version online :)

Currently I feel most suitable to apply for EOWG Advisory Committee, because my time is limited and a full EOWG Board Members seat is maybe too much work beside my other activities. …I have no clue how much work it is tho :P

Any events they've been involved in and a brief description: I have been an active participant in Drupal event organising since 2016. Following is the list of all events I have been involved until now:

• Organiser in DrupalCamp Mumbai 2018
• Volunteer and Speaker in Drupal Developer Days Lisbon 2018
• Volunteer Coordinator in Drupal Europe 2018
• Organiser in Drupal Developer Days Transylvania 2019
• Volunteer Coordinator in DrupalCon Amsterdam 2019
• Volunteer in Drupal Developer Days Belgium 2020 (it got cancelled due to Covid hit)
• Volunteer Coordinator in DrupalCon Barcelona 2020 (to be held in December 2020)

I have always been a passionate non-code contributor to the Drupal Community, I love organizing Drupal events like Cons, Camps. Sprints etc. I would like to nominate myself for one of the seats with EOWG Board Members because I believe I would be able to bring in the diversity within the Board.

I am probably only ready to make the commitment at the Advisory Committee level, not the board...

• Any events they've been involved in and a brief description: I've organized several Intro to Drupal site building workshops in Spokane and Seattle, have helped organize the Pacific Northwest Drupal Summit and Seattle Drupal Camp in the past, and am the leader/organizer of a local Drupal group in Spokane that meets monthly at a local library (we are meeting every two weeks online at the moment)
• Why me: I feel like the needs of local Drupal groups (groups that meet monthly or so) have not been adequately heard in the push to eliminate groups.drupal.org and replace it with a global calendar. Local Drupal groups are a very important resource, and I would hate to see them fragmented off to meetup.com and other places. They need to have a home on *.drupal.org where people can find and connect with their local group, and group organizers can post events. So, I think the Board and/or Advisory Committee needs representation from people whose primary motivation is around organizing smaller meetups rather than conferences/camps.

Actually, having seen your meeting schedule, I am going to withdraw my self-nomination. I have another meeting at that time.
