1️⃣ Status updateOur path to beta is currently headed towards Drupal 9.1. #3111409: Add new Olivero frontend theme to Drupal 9.1 core as beta (edited)

mtift (he/him)	Big group today! Let's use this issue to discuss the overall status of the initiative in broad terms, and we'll save specific issue discussions for later threads.
mherchel	Making steady progress. I’ve worked on styling core’s built in layout builder layouts.

mherchel	I also posted https://drupal.slack.com/archives/C2ANFUGGG/p1591624890382100 in the #accessibility channel to start a formal accessibility testing plan
mherchel	@mtift (he/him) has started the process of creating a script to generate a core patch. We currently need work on moving our PostCSS processes into core, which I believe @proeung is working on
mtift (he/him)	We're also getting closer to having plan where people can test out Olivero by applying a patch to Drupal core rather than having to clone the Olivero project and build
mherchel	jinx!
mherchel	Overall the theme is looking better and better. I want to cut an alpha3 this week
proeung	Indeed! I'm working on moving our PostCSS config into Core and will be creating a ticket for this work so we can track the progress.
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him)	Do we need if the beta requirements issue is ready now for core committers to take a look?
mtift (he/him)	@proeung One of the steps I'm doing to "prepare" for creating patches in #3143619: [No commit] Prepare for core inclusion is to remove postcss.config.js in the root of the Olivero project. Is what you are doing essentially the replacement in core for that functionality?
mherchel	@Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) I don’t believe it is yet. I’ll make that a priority

mherchel	yep. lots of reviewing
sharma.amitt16	[#3144915]in this @pooja provided a patch with z-index value modification. There are some feedbacks on this about the positioning of of the table header ... I feel if we put the table header below the overlay then it will be a big jump of table to down after opening the search overlay
sharma.amitt16	Need some suggestions here so that it can get fixed.

mherchel	@Sreenivas Bttv No there isn’t. Also note that Olivero isn’t intended to be used as an administrative theme
mherchel	That being said, it would be nice of things like this didn’t break (edited)
sharma.amitt16	We need people to test the theme on different browsers and platforms as per designs so that more issues can be fixed quickly and we can have a good theme in core.
