Problem/Motivation
The project Node Embed did no longer have any active maintainers.
Recently, paulvanderburg was recently made a co-maintaner of the project, but was not given all the permissions needed to perform the task as maintainer properly.
Proposed resolution
Give paulvanderburg additional permissions. This must at least be the permission to "Edit project" and "Administer releases" – but unless somebody can provide a rationale for not giving him all, he should get all.
Remaining tasks
A user with the role "Git admin" must do this.
Original report by paulvanderburg
I'd like to see this module be given new life as it is used in the DvG distribution I'm maintaining. So I'm asking to be made (co-)maintainer of this project.
I hope my current maintainership track record proves I'd be a suitable candidate.
I'm following this procedure of becoming an owner of a project: Dealing with unsupported projects
This is step 1 of that process. I'll be contacting the current maintainers shortly (step 2).
I also have permission to opt into security advisory coverage, which is required seeing that this project currently is covered by security advisory coverage.

I've already had contact with mrharolda but he said he didn't have the required permissions to add me as maintainer.

paulvandenburg commentedI've received a response from tirdadc, however he said he did not have access to the project permissions screen and thus could not help with this request.

paulvandenburg commentedI've moved this issue to the Drupal.org project ownership project.
I've gone through steps 1 to 4 of the becoming owner of a project guide.
As you can see above my attempts at contacting the maintainers. So far I've had response from 2 maintainers, who were willing to add me as maintainer, but couldn't.
Now my request to the webmasters is to help me in furthering my maintainership request.

mrharolda commentedI support paulvandenburg's request for maintainer of this module; I personally don't use Node Embed anymore, so I can't give the support it needs.
gisleLooks like all conditions outlined in the protocol for ownership transfer has been fulfilled.

gisleChanging status.
th_tushar commentedAs requested, I've added you as a co-maintainer of the module.
paulvandenburg commentedThanks, however can I be given some more permissions for node_embed? Because now I can't update the maintenance status. So even if I start maintaining the module it would still be marked as "not maintained"
gisleAs a stopgap, I have used my powers as a Webmaster to update the maintenance status of the project page to say that it is maintained.
However, this does not resolve the underlying issue, which is that as the (apparently) now sole active maintainer of this project, paulvandenburg need more permssions to perform this task properly.
Certainly the permission to "Edit project" and "Administer releases" – but I can't see why he shall not have all of them.
Changing these permissions is not something I can do (I think one needs the role "Git admin" to be able to do it), so somebody with that role need to do it.
I've changed the title to reflect the current state of this issue and updated the issue summary.
paulvandenburg,
if this doesn't help, create a new issue here, linking this one as the parent issue. New issues often get more attention than old, reopened ones.

gisleChanging "Component".

paulvandenburg commentedThanks @gisle!
I'll wait for a little longer see if it is picked up, then I'll open a new issue.

avpadernoI made paulvandenburg maintainer and owner of the project.
