Hello everyone, i've created the patch available at https://www.drupal.org/project/visitors/issues/2599042 to make the D8 release of visitors work again.
I'm working hard to create a new stable release of the visitors module, and to add new features and integrations, can you give me maintiainer privileges so i can release a complete version of this module?

Sure, i've already contacted the owner multiple times, the first time was May 2017, i've never received an answer.

But were those related to the request made in this issue?

Looks like you need to wait max two weeks to escalate this issue.

Don't know whether you can become owner of the project. The project opted in for Security Advisory Policy. You should be able to become co-maintainer.
