There are a few issues that are RTBC on the 8.x-1.x-dev release of this project:

It will facilitate further development to have most of them merged into the dev branch + set issues to closed.
If the current maintainers do not currently have the possibility to do that, I can probably help but will need commit access + probably a few other maintainers will need the 'Administer maintainers' permission.

colanAgreed.
@kirsh: I wanted to give @colorfield access, but didn't have permission. Please delegate the "manage maintainers" permission. It looks like you haven't been active on the project for 7 years. Thanks.

colanPlease make me the Serial Field project owner so that I may delegate permissions to other maintainers. I've been maintaining the module for a while now, but couldn't administer maintainers, and now we have no way to reach the current owner, kirsh (who doesn't have a contact form enabled).
I got permission myself a few years ago because he/she checked the issue queue #2488776: Offering to maintain Serial Field, but that doesn't seem to be true anymore.
