mrpauldriver commented+1 yes please
Comment #3
couturier commented@fgm or @MrPaulDriver are either of you able to spend some time working on this? Development resources for this module are incredibly limited right now with the existing maintainers and contributors. Thanks.
mrpauldriver commentedAbove my skill level I'm afraid.
fgmNot really time to work on that. But there is a workaround in the meantime, as explained on #2912153: Roadmap#23:
couturier commentedThanks for the replies. I wonder if we could add the info in comment #5 to the documentation for this module.
mrpauldriver commentedHas there been any progress with this?
ikit-claw commentedI'll take this one on or Paul won't let me hear the end of it lol

anybodyGreat to hear this @ikit-claw, thank you very much for that! It was great to have this quick tool in older versions.
anybodyAny news on this @ikit-claw? Did you run into problems we can help with or just no time (for something you are not even paid for).
intrafusionI made a start on this as I needed the functionality, but realised pretty quickly that I don't fully understand the Backup Migrate module however I thought I'd share what I managed:
These were pretty easy as they are simply entities, not sure whether I can do any of the others without a better understanding of the module.
damienmckennaThanks for that!
You might look at Drupal\backup_migrate\Entity\Schedule::run() to see what it does there, that might give you some clues about running a specific backup.
emudojo commentedis there any development for this?, we also need drush commands back.
hron84 commentedWe'd also like to see this functional. I do not know why, but with latest version of the module, calling backup_migrate_cron() does nothing, we currently using this for backup database before deployments:
I hope it helps.

jsidigital commentedFollowing this.
Really looking forward for Backup & Migrate to support drush on Drupal 9 (drush 10).
damienmckennaLet's focus this issue on some rudimentary details and we can build upon it later.
For now let's focus on making sure #12 works.
damienmckennaComment #20
damienmckennaI spun off an issue for creating a command that runs a backup: #3223057: Add Drush command for running a quick backup
Comment #21
paulocsPatch #12 looks good.
I'm just adding dependency injection to it and fixing code standard problems.
larisse commentedApplying the patch #21 and running drush commands in Drupal 9 and Drush 10.5.0 version, drush bam-destinations, drush bam-profiles and drush bam-sources run ok. For the other commands, I get a error, Command "x" is not defined.
