I had a problem earlier where I realised for the last 5 days new users could not register on my site. www.kampforum.co.za
This morning, I decided to run some module updates (can't remember all of them, CKeditor and in my opinion they were minor).
I put the site in maintenance mode and performed the updates.
After updates I was ecstatic, because new user registration worked 100%
Then people started contacting me and say they cannot see anything, access any content on the forum. Forum shows 0 posts, and even article and basic page page content cannot be seen by anyone but me, ADMIN Users also cannot create any new forum content.
Admin, on the other hand cannot create any new content,nothing.
It is as if the permissions and roles do not work at all!
I need help or some direction please.

Under Status report I get this USER WARNINGS:

Not sure if it has something to do with the problem at hand.
UPDATE: I did a
UPDATE: I did a permissions rebuild and It solved 90% of my challenge. All registered users can nou operate as previously, access all content and create new - read all forums - so that side is good.
Where I am still stuck is the public that do not have access to anything - even the limited content that was visible to the public only, they just get a "Access denied" - since permissions rebuild does not resolve this, I am in the dark again.

well I expanded my drupal8 skills a little today. Permission to "View all Published Content" was not checked. Now all is back to normal again!
