It would be good at the very least to have this issue:

If #2913236: Fix the tests in the D8 branch could be fixed I think it'd be worth at least a beta release.

We're well into Drupal 9. so a new version would need include [3134320].

This module needs some love...

To get the module actually working (D8 version), currently at least 3 patches are necessary. Most notably https://www.drupal.org/node/2813801, without which the module is completely useless on https sites.

Is there anything the community can do to help usher in a stable release? I'm not a coder, but I can test patches and such.
