I am unable to edit node settings such as Menu settings, Content settings, Publishing Options, etc. For example, I want to edit nodes using admin/content/node/edit => click on Menu settings or admin/structure/content types/basic page/edit/ => click on Menu Settings , but when I try to do so, all the settings are unaccessible to me, it just redirects me to the same page. I have no idea why this is happening. The menu module is enabled.

It could be a javascript problem. Check your browser's console log for errors.
