Follow-up to #1498720: [meta] Make the entity storage system handle changes in the entity and field schema definitions
The change record Database schema of content entities is automatically generated based on entity type and field definitions still says:
Handling field/schema changes
- Right now, there is no support for handling base field definition or respective db schema changes. This is going to be implemented as part of #1498720: [meta] Make the entity storage system handle changes in the entity and field schema definitions.
- The change record is going to be updated, once handling changes is implemented.
That's out of date. It works now.
Proposed resolution
We should update the CR to that effect, and provide detail.

quietone commentedI updated the change record to direct the reader to the change record that explains the changes and has the details. I am going to set this to fixed because this is about Drupal 8 which is EOL, the change is simple, I checked the link is correct.
