Multiple clicks on checkboxes with autosubmit should cancel original requests

Not sure if this is a BEF issue or CTools. I have an exposed filter displayed as checkboxes and my view is set to auto-submit. This works nicely if I click slowly, but if I want to click a few checkboxes at once not all of my clicks are remembered because the ajax result refreshes the filters. I think the solution would be to cancel all outstanding ajax requests when initiating a new request.
