I almost clean installed the latest version of Drupal (7.36) with a few modules, plus Media 7.15. When I used Drush command installing the Media module, I got following error messages:
WD php: EntityMalformedException: Missing bundle property on entity [error]
of type file. in entity_extract_ids() (line 7818 of ....includes/common.inc).
Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output [warning]
started at /usr/local/lib/php/drush/includes/output.inc:38)
bootstrap.inc:1232
EntityMalformedException: Missing bundle property on entity of type file. in entity_extract_ids() (line 7818 of ........includes/common.inc).
Drush command terminated abnormally due to an unrecoverable error. [error]
After enabling and disabling some modules I found the above error was produced if Views UI was already enabled. If Views UI was not enabled, then it seemed that the installation could be done perfectly without occurring any error messages.
