I have a client that would like the header of his website to contain an advertisement, I initially created a a flash slideshow that shows 4 or 5 different ads. But instead of timed changed he would like the ads to just change whenever someone goes to a new page, is this possible ?

Any ideas on how I could accomplish this ?

Hi,

You could make a content type "advertisement" with a CCK image field, then make a view which shows 1 node, with sorting options "random" and then output that view in a region in the header where you want the advertisement.

Another option is to use the Advertisement module. It should be noted that this module does slow down your site a bit, but if you are looking to keep stats on which ads users click, this will do the trick.
