The Reservation module allows site users to reserve a unit. A unit could be anything, but the most common are rooms or pieces of equipment. Site builders create the units that can be reserved, adding any additional fields. Validation of reservations is done using Rules, which can be customized by the site builder.

Creating a Reservation Unit

To create a unit, navigate to admin/reservation/units/add. Enter a name for the unit and optionally a description. Additional fields can be added to units by using the Manage Fields link located on the Reservation Units overview page at admin/reservation/units.

To create a Reservation, navigate to reservation/add and select a unit. Complete all required form fields and click the Save Reservation button. At this point the form is validated and any Rules are processed.
