Here is a Rundown of what I need to do... I am designing a module for a Transportation Service.
1. A user will schedule a Ride using a form made with The CCK, with Date/Time--Start address/end address, Stuff Like that
2. That user should be able to list Rides they scheduled but only the ones they scheduled, Possibly with some Filters like Rides this week... Next week, This month... Next Month
3. When a Ride is added it should email the Ride Coordinator with detailed info of the ride
4. Ride Coordinator Should be able to see everyones Scheduled rides with Filters for specific dates and ranges of dates
More things will need to be done like a billing system for the rides but I am starting with the ride scheduling area...
The main thing I have a problem finding a Pre-built module is restricting access to each user to only their stuff, I thought of using the TAC Lite module but that would require the user to input a specific taxonomy title each time they made a ride. I am trying to make this extremely user friendly easy because most of the users will be disabled or elderly.
Anybody have any thoughts of how to start Either designing the custom module or possibly a combination of predone modules that could do the job.
Also I am not locked into using the CCK module as the input form I just thought it might be easier that way.
This is the first thing I have ever done with PHP or drupal, so go easy on me I usually design High speed Digital Circuit boards.
