Hi,

Does it makes more sense to rename it to "URL", Attached patch does that.

dawehner’s picture

This is also used for 'search', so maybe we should check whether we show 403/404 results.

dblog.search:
  path: '/admin/reports/search'
  defaults:
    _controller: '\Drupal\dblog\Controller\DbLogController::topLogMessages'
    _title: 'Top search phrases'
    type: 'search'
  requirements:
    _module_dependencies: 'search'
    _permission: 'access site reports'

I didn't notice that, Here is the updated patch.

Shouldn't we do this in a more elegant and extensible way? For example add:

DbLogController::topLogMessagesUrl($type) {
  return $this->topLogMessages($type, $this->t('URL'));
}
DbLogController::topLogMessagesSearch($type) {
  return $this->topLogMessages($type, $this->t('Search'));
}

And change DbLogController::topLogMessages to accept and row title?

Thank you for creating this issue to improve Drupal.

We are working to decide if this task is still relevant to a currently supported version of Drupal. There hasn't been any discussion here for over 8 years which suggests that this has either been implemented or is no longer relevant. Your thoughts on this will allow a decision to be made.

Since we need more information to move forward with this issue, the status is now Postponed (maintainer needs more info). If we don't receive additional information to help with the issue, it may be closed after three months.

Thanks!

Adding a related issue. I think that if we convert these pages to views, then we will have much broader options how to customize/modify it (also for sites admins themself). Not saing this is hardly blocked by that related issue though.

Version: 11.x-dev » main

Drupal core is now using the main branch as the primary development branch. New developments and disruptive changes should now be targeted to the main branch.
