I've just finished setting up the CCK Slideshow module. It's almost exactly what I was looking for:
- per user galleries
- CCK integration
- multiple image uploads allowed
- limited access via nodeprofile and user hand shakes (although I'm still working on this)
- javascript slide show
- thumbnails

I have two points of confusion though.
1. the "teaser" view is injected into my custom user profile. I can't figure out how it's gotten there. It just sort of magically appeared at the top of the page when I enabled the module and created my own gallery. At a minimum I'd like to move it to the bottom of the profile, but I don't know how it appeared so I'm not sure how to move it.

2. I'd like to have the slide show *beside* the thumbnails. e.g. 500x500 slideshow with 75x75 thumbnails beside as a summary of what's available. I thought that's what I was installing, but I don't see how it can be done.

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
