I've been working on a test site for my gaming clan. We wanted to use Drupal but we're currently stuck in creating sexier user profiles. The community has been great in helping but they are experts and the explanations are beyond our knowledge T_T so basically we're stuck lol.
I'm wondering if there are any modules that will allow us to create better user profiles. Profiles that show buddies, comments, show user galleries and about me sections. I've tried some of the scripts on here http://drupal.org/node/35728 but only managed to get the css script working to format the profile. Its not the best looking but its fine for us.
Does anyone know of a module or modules we could use? They are trying to get to use phpizabi but I don't want to switch to the dark side lol.

You mean the pager for the guestbook? I like having it on the top and bottom just to make it easier. That's entirely optional.
I'm no designer, so this is as sexy as it's gonna get. ;) I'd love to see what people do with theirs once I get the tutorial done, though.

I'm terrible about looking at names... I tend to just respond to posts and not even notice who posted them.
My son is settled in with a snack and my hubby is settled in with his family, so I'm taking a bit of time to get started on the tutorial. I won't get very far tonight, but at least it's progress. :) I've got the node published and save it often so you'll see it as it progresses. I know most people don't publish things until they are done but I figure this is going to take me a week or so and people might get some tips off of it as I go if I do it live.
I will keep the noobs in mind. :) I tend to write more general first and then go back and flesh things out more, so if there's anything confusing, feel free to let me know even though the tut is unfinished and I'll try to clarify as I go on.
