Hi everyone. I'm a student web designer at a high school, and I'd like to "Drupalize" my site. I really only need to have the front page altered. I'd like to keep the site generally the same. On the front page I'd like to have 3 blog categories (Announcements, Sports, Parent Announcements). I created the page in GoLive CS so am I in for a battle while trying to convert? Also if it's not easy or semi-easy to convert my site, which theme would you suggest I download that would look somewhat like what I have. I'm also looking to add a flash header to my site in case that makes any difference instead of the four pictures. Thanks for your help!

You will have to install Drupal and then load up your content. You cannot 'convert' a site to Drupal.

Here is how I would do it:
--install the latest copy of drupal
--set up your menu
--move over all the content
--tweak the the bluemarine theme to get it looking like your site
--finished!

Hope this helps you get your site drupalised :)

Would I be setting up the javascript menu I have? Or would I have to create a new menu? Drupal is installed on the server/computer, but we are having trouble being able to log on. It worked for a second, and now it doesn't work but that's another issue and there is a thread about that. So it should be pretty easy after I am able to change it up?

Get rid of everything that you have on the old site and recreate everything on the new drupal installation.
