I'm going to create a new page on my company's website for our blog, which is on WordPress currently. I want to import the blog so I can keep publishing from WordPress and have it update on the website as well. I can't find any good instructions on how to do this. Anyone know how to do this easily?
Thanks

There's probably no instructions on how to do this, because it doesn't really make much sense, lol. However, if you really want to do this you could probably do it with the feeds module.
Do you think it would just be
Do you think it would just be better to start posting directly to the site through blog/story?
Hi , You can import wp blogs easily ...Try this one
You can export blog data from wp admin .
see the step -
Export WXR file from WP site
1.login at wordpress.com
2.My DashBoard >> My Blogs >> Tools >> Export
3.Download Export File for use with the Wordpress Import module
To import wordpress data in drupal site.
1.go on http://drupal.org/project/wordpress_import and download module
2. configure it in your drupal site and import Wordpress exported file in this module.
3.It will loads all exported blog automatically and also add new category in drupal as its taxonomy.
Try this ,it will help you.
Thank You
Thanks, I'll give that a try.
Wordpress does not export meta description
Unfortunately, it appears the Wordpress export does not actually export a page's meta description:
Any idea how to get Wordpress to actually export that?
Clarification Needed...
Could You Clarify What The WordPress Data Is Being imported Into?
In other words, is this for someone who has a Drupal Blog already and now wants his WordPress Posts integrated into the Drupal Blog? Or can you import the whole WordPress Template into Drupal?
Thanks for any info you might add...Roman T.
Thanks
Thanks for the cool tutorial. Will try.
How Is Link juice Passed? Drupal Vs.WordPress Blog on Drupal Web
How Is Link juice Passed? Which has better SEO, a Drupal Blog Vs.WordPress Blog on a Drupal Website?
I apologize for hitchhiking in on the conversation, as I do not have anything to contribute to this last dilemma. I too though am to the point of one or two things, I either go with a WordPress Blog on my Drupal Site or I go with a Drupal Blog?? I hope this post is relevant to the original post topic, if not sorry in advance, I am new to much of this.
For the person importing the WordPress data, are you actually importing the whole website, whereas it functions and looks just like the original WordPress template, or did you mean you are importing just the data into a Drupal blog and updating the Drupal Blog so you don't lose your WordPress posts? Which scenario is going on?
I have asked now about whether to go with a Drupal or WordPress blog on my Drupal Site, and the camp is divided down the middle. I'm very familiar with WordPress and just learning Drupal, none at the developer level though, just as a CMS user.
My fear with WordPress is it will not pass the same link-juice as the domain name is different. Even if you change or mask the URL doesn't it still effect the passing of link juice from the blog say to the home page? Obviously the links are the same on each blog but overall link-juice passage, how could it be as good in WordPress since now you would have to integrate another domain name into it? Or are you just uploading the script into Drupal, is that how it works?
I really need to solve this mystery fast if anyone, though especially the SEO's out there, can be kind enough to explain this to me I would be deeply grateful? Thanks...sorry again for jumping onto this post though it seemed related at the time. Regards...Roman T.
