When trying to create new content, the frontpage is shown

http://mysite/?q=node/add/story
http://mysite/?q=node/add/page

However, if I try to create a new Poll, there is no problem.

Any ideas about how to solve this?

Did you check your permissions to make sure you have permissions to do what you want?
