In custom box I put a link to external inage. But no image displayed. Why could it be?

It is img src... but still no img shown

I have tried this too, I think the problem is where ghosted forwarding is used on a domain. Find the picture you want to link to, right click it and choose properties, and then copy the address from the window that pops up there. This will show you the REAL URL of the image you require.

If you have HTML filtering turned on and don't have the < img > tag specified as an allowed tag, your image won't show.

Change this in Admin --> System --> Filters

I have HTML filtering on, but I also have added the Only local images are allowed. tag as allowed... still don't see pics. Any ideas?

I'm new to Drupal...cannot find "system" under admin...i checked "menu", "module", "access control", noway to fix...any ideas?

You can find filters in the new version under Administer->Input formats. There you can configure each filter.
