Currently, it looks like this module and its sub-modules are independent when listed on the Hosting Features page.

  • Hosting Sync: "Sync task"
  • HTTP Basic Authentication: "HTTP Basic Authentication"
  • Hosting tasks extra: "Extra tasks"
  • Hosting Drush Alias: "Show example Drush aliases"

All of these should be together in a new group just like Hosting Examples and Aegir CiviCRM.

I'll have a patch for this shortly, with the package name "Aegir Extras".
