It would be lovely if you could choose how blogs are ordered. I've been working on a module that imports Livejournal into a Drupal Blog. That work fine.
But when you view "my blog", you get the imported entries first. Why? Because they have later node ID's..
Could this be sorted by date please? Yes. I know it's work and will be more expensive in processor time to create the page. I may just write a (cronable) script to reorder the database based on date.

Good suggestion
I think the ability to sort by date, id, category(taxonomy) are features that would be extremely usefull for any visitors to the page.
