i want to customise my registration page such that before submitting the registration form, he has to enter the registration code( like Aq3D)similar to google, yahoo registration form. is it possible to do it.can someone help me

I downloaded the module and installed as mentioned in sites/all/modules.... In the captcha setting page, i can able to see the math captcha and text_captcha in the list box. But i cant able to see image_captcha eventhough I enabled the image_captcha module. The error msg is
PHP installation's GD library has no JPEG support
Can anyone guide me what to do.
