What do you think? Will Category a core module in the future instead of Taxonomy and Book? Why? Or why not? How is it decided when something inserted into the core?

I've just started to read about Category and its functions. It's interesting but seems to be very difficult to use.

I have a different question, I know the key developer of category is busy with another project right now, but I have not been able to find an expected date of an update that incorporates all the patches and hard work people have been doing on the bugs... I have been following the bug topics intently....

I guess I want to know should I wait for category to set up my website, (it is a new one) or should I just do it without category?
