I chose (for better or worse) the auto install for Drupal at my hosting company. It's version 6.13 so it seemed current. It created a "drupal" directory though and I wanted it in my main (html) directory. So I copied all the contents of that directory to my hard drive and then deleted the "drupal" directory and then uploaded all the contents to the html directory. So far all seems to work.
BTW: This is for a small eCommerce site. My question is, should I go back and do a manual install or can I assume that I won't have any problems related to this auto installation?

Is it working?
If it's working, it's PROBABLY fine unless your host hard-coded some odd paths in. You are probably fine if it's functioning and if your add-ins are working ok.
:)
thanks
