Trouble with RSS Feed. I finished setting up my Drupal site and I spent a full days moving all the 100s articles over from my old Wordpress site. (Took a long time, but at least it is done.) I just need to submit my new RSS feed to search engines so it can be indexed. Unfortunately, I cannot find it! I think there may be something wrong.
I have heard the default RSS feed is /rss.xml , I also tried some other references I saw online such as /?q=node/rss . None of these have produces any RSS feed, and the /rss.xml results in a 404 error.
What could I have done to corrupt the RSS feed? I have never seen it, so I do not know if it ever worked or when it broke. Also, I have tried to play with the Administration -> RSS Publishing menu options, but there is no change.
Hope someone can help, because I can't go live without a RSS feed as a site map. Thanks for your consideration.

I enabled the "views_rss"
I enabled the "views_rss" module, as a work around. Though, if anyone knows how to get the default RSS working, please let me know
Another update
Okay, it was because I did not have clean directories turned on. Since this is not the default, I am not sure why the documentation mentions only the non-default configuration. For the record it was ?q=rss.xml
