Hi,

I'm trying to get started with Drupal on a Mac (OS X Tiger). I'm foollowing the instructions on this site, but when I get to the steps I need to take in Terminal it isn't at all doing what should happen according to the instructions. I feel completely cluesless at the first step. Could someone please help me?

which instructions are you using?

I've been able to successfully install Drupal on Tiger using these instructions from the installation handbook:

If these aren't working, have you installed the developer tools? Have you customized your system?
