I have worked as a professional web designer and developer for over 14 years now. In that time I have has headed up several teams and won some big industry awards.
In 2008 I Founded the UK Web Agency Panoetic in order to create web applications and large database driven websites in a friendly, open and ethical manner.
The agency grew rapidly to serve multi-national clients like Cameron International and the US Department of Defence before successfully merging with Drupal specialists Code Enigma in 2012, where I now head up the UX and design teams.
As well as being a keen contributor to the open source community, I also organise events (Drupal7Camp Leeds, The Northern User Experience Conference, MAD Bradford), regularly speak at conferences and run Drupal training courses.
My key interests are in the areas of Information Architecture and User Experience Design, where I'm running an initiative within Code Enigma to find best practices when combining User Centered Design principles with Agile methodologies.
I am also heavily involved with front-end development, implementing a responsive design workflow which implements Sass as a personal framework to use with Drupal.
I'm also a County level Squash player, Keen cyclist, fell runner and father to twin boys.
