How I opted for Drupal
Before Drupal, I worked on front-end design, Open Journals, WordPress, and SPIP CMS. My journey into Drupal began with curiosity and a desire to build something more scalable and community-driven. The initial learning curve was steep, but it taught me patience, persistence, and the value of community collaboration.
Over time, I transformed struggles with site building and user-management complexities into strengths, shaping my vision:
“to make powerful web platforms accessible, inclusive, and sustainable for all.”
Professional Focus
- Enterprise Drupal Site Building & Front-End Development
- Accessibility-first Architecture
- Single Directory Components (SDC)
- Modern Drupal CMS
Case Study
WATSAN-Cell Local Government and Rural Development (Govt of KP)
One thing I don’t like but love about the Drupal community:
Seeing developers contribute their time despite tight schedules inspires me.
I am glad to help newcomers, and I plan to continue doing so, Insha’Allah.
Drupal Events Attended / Volunteered

United Nations Volunteer
Volunteered with the United Nations to support Laaha,
a Virtual Safe Space (VSS) platform for women and girls affected by humanitarian crises.
Contributed to implementing and maintaining a secure online community offering
education, psychosocial support, interactive forums, and safety features.
Current Ambition
I am currently developing OpenAccessibility.net (not live yet),
an accessibility module for both Drupal and WordPress.
The module helps websites align with
WCAG 2.1
standards by providing screen reader support, keyboard navigation,
adjustable fonts and contrast, animation controls, and other inclusive features.
The goal is to offer a simple, open, and inclusive alternative to commercial overlays.
Accessibility should be built in, not added on.
Currently Exploring & Building
Learning and building with Single Directory Components (SDC),
exploring Drupal AI,
and contributing to
Knova.
