WordPress Migrate is now Drupal 9 compatible!

It can import media assets into Drupal too

wordpress_migrate has existed since 2010 and with release 8.x-3.0-alpha4 it can now run on Drupal 8 and 9. Use this module with the 'migrate' framework to import WordPress XML files. The Readme has been updated with the latest information
