A beta release containing the huge LMS entity revision handling work that needs to get properly tested before being released as a stable. Not recommended for production sites therefore.
Please create issues on drupal.org LMS project issue queue by referencing the before mentioned issue.

Upgrade path is provided, backwards compatibility should be maintained but needs more testing and feedback.
