Is there a plan amongst core developers for making Drupal 6 truly multilingual? As I have seen there is no support for multilingual custom menus and taxonomy yet and that is kind of crucial for making a good site in multiple languages. Do the core dev team plan to make that happen themselves with a small set of official contributed multilingual modules? Or just leaven it to the creative module developers and hope for the best? :)
I just wanted to let everyone know Drupal-Themed.com has launched. What is Drupal Themed? Drupal Themed is news and content submitted by you the Drupal community user. It works just like the popular site Digg.com. If you have a new theme, plugin or just want to show off your Drupal powered website this is the place to do it. The article(s) submitted will be reviewed by all and will be promoted, based on popularity, to the main page. Just another place to get your name out there with.
Would you like to learn Drupal 6 as quickly as possible? You have already learned the basics but you would like to advance further? Or you’d rather learn the new features of Drupal 6? Then this announcement is for you.
The Drupal Association will recieve a 20% of commission for each copy sold. As a result, these videos will not only increase the number of Drupal developers, but also provide financial support to the Drupal Association. That is a double advantage!
The target audience of the Drupal Miracle are those Drupal developers who are on beginner-intermediate level. “Intermediate” developer are those who have already acquired the basics and would like to improve their knowledge further, to build more complex sites. However, I also would like complete beginners to be able to learn from the videos. Therefore, I am definitely creating the teaching material in a way that can aid complete beginners.
