Only a first version and not much documentation yet, but a user with "administer menu" permissions can now grant access to modify parts of the menu based on roles. Said users can now insert menu-items for their content below those "subtree containers".

Over at joomla.com, they have a story posted about the release of Drupal 5. As a former joomla user who switched over to drupal, I try to keep up with their news. Seems pretty classy to post an article on their home page about "our" release over here.

I've created several search plugins for FireFox / IE7 (or any browser that supports OpenSearch plugins). Using these plugins, you can quickly locate a topic on api.drupal.org or drupal.org by typing the topic in the browser's search box.

I'm glad to announce that the Aberdeen theme was finally released today.
Aberdeen is a fresh design that balances simplicity, soft, neutral background colors, plenty of whitespace and big nice typography.
There are a few interesting features listed in the Downloads themes section. For example, a "zoomable" Liquid layout. The whole layout increases or decreases proportionally as dimensions are specified in ems. Try changing the font size to see this working.
