It's a social networking community for young urban hip and trendy college women who are interested in the latest fashion styles, newest restaurants, bars, lounges, events, retail stores, spas, salons etc. Users are able to comment and vote on items that have been posted. I’m working on a multimedia module (yourplayer) for drupal 5.x.x (4.x.x not jet tested 90% chance it will work).

What can Yourplayer do ?

Play media
Download media
Upload media category’s ( audio, video, images, other).
File types (mp3 jpg etc…) can be add or delete in the admin panel.
Adding / deleting genre’s.
URL suport(audio,video,image,YouTube video,Google video)
Creating albums (by database actions).
Creating play list.
Media player popup (flash, windows media player, real player, QuickTime player) (full play list support).
Upload/download account support (you can set max inbox space, datalimet, prise, how many days the account expires or datalimet resets) .
User media inbox.
User list settings (set user active/inactive reset inbox space and datlimet and more).
File shearing.
File search .
User ranking (upload, downloads,plays)
File ranking(plays, download).
Album rankings (plays, downloads).
Mutable (file server + database) support.
File server settings:
->max upload size to server.
->upload, download file editing.
->file server max space and max datalimet.
->file manger per server ( upload, delete, rename).
->uploading with ftp and adding it to database.
->uploading albums to database by (filename as album title and in the folder the album song + one img of the cover).

This site has gotten so slow as to be unusable at times. This is an intolerable situation for anyone using Drupal or someone who wants to learn about Drupal. What does it say to a newbie when the front page of the Drupal.org site takes 1-3 minutes to display?
