Introduction to Connect Communications

Connect is a team of hard workers and pushovers, who are determined to establish an elite network services spectrum on metropolitan level. Connect have a mission to build a stronghold for various network services on local link, such as super nodes, MSN and other utilities to provide maximum performance and high scalability to take full advantage of gigabit network. Connect is determined to provide state of the art broadband communication to each household on a very low cost.

Connects Backbone Project

The Connects Backbone Project is a mission to connect all cable networks spread in Karachi over a single optical fiber backbone connecting everyone across the city. This backbone have been formed in rings to provide redundant links to each node and a fully backed up internet bandwidth with state of the art management bundled with value added services. This backbone provides gigabit bandwidth support and an ideal metropolitan area network to provide VPN, VLAN & etc. services to virtually all users served with Connect's Gigabit Backbone.

Requirements:

. Experience in design & coding of high-traffic websites, Content Management Systems, and web-based software . Solid Standards Compliant XHTML and Expert CSS skills with the ability to debug/solve cross-browser issues.
. Ability to work with table-less designs.
. Solid layout and typographical instincts . Smarty Templating Language . Understanding of CMS, Drupal 4.7, 5.0, JavaScript & PHP.
. Good UI design skills
. Good IA knowledge & practices
. Ability to slice and optimize images using Adobe CS Suite or Similar Suite
. Hands-on, front-end coding and management of corporate websites using Drupal

1. We are a company which serves a community since 1998 and we want to enhance our service offering a different online community / social networking platform.
2. The web platform: we use an ASP service, based on a very customized Drupal implementation to be able to manage multiple websites. You will notice some differences at the administrative area.

They are new to Drupal, but already creating an amazing theme.
