Launching some new drupal sites

Hello all,
I just wanted to officially announce the launch of three new drupal sites.
These have been under development for various periods of time and I want all of you to be able to check them out and provide some feedback.

The first is The Liquid Connoisseur (http://www.theliquidconnoisseur.com)
This is a whimsical site using a Google Maps interface to browse various vineyards and breweries and the delicious beverages they produce.

New Drupal & Gallery2 demo site

Check out the new demo site at http://drupalgallery.com which uses the Gallery module to embed Gallery2 inside your Drupal installation to support photos, videos and other content. There are demos for Drupal 5 and 6.

Some of the features that you can explore include:

  • Grid block of 9 random images
  • Image block of random, popular and newest images
  • Menu of gallery items embedded in the main Drupal menu using GalleryMenu
  • Selection of user photos in user profiles using GalleryProfile
  • Search of gallery items
  • Image chooser (G2Image) in TinyMCE toolbar
  • Gallery filter to insert images into posts using a simple syntax ([G2=itemId] syntax)

The demo site allows you to add photos and post content to test many of these features. Note that the site will reset every hour removing any new content/photos.

Theming tutorial and CVS / Subversion management tutorial.

It was suggested by 'themegarden' on one of my tutorial comments that I post an announcement about the series of tutorials I just finished writing on 'simple theming'.

The series title is: "From HTML mockup to a full Drupal site: a tutorial".

Part I: Introduction and Installation.

Part II: Site Setup, Content and Modules.

Part III: Template Theming, Integration and Finishing Touches.

Additionally, a while back, I wrote a fairly in-depth tutorial on how I go about managing my Drupal installs with a combination of CVS and Subversion, here:
