(Apologies if this is posted in the wrong area.) A taxonomy is a natural way of organizing information. The power of Drupal is the recognition of this fact. Drupal can become a serious challenge to most other CMS's if it hones the application of the taxonomy and keeps it central to the architecture. I have used many web-based information management systems particularly Zope and Plone, and have concluded that the most powerful tool is a comprehensive filter allied to a quick search system.

Hi all,
planning to use 4.5, I would like to know what is the actual situation on login in the case you want Drupal to remember your user and password.
Drupal.org remembers my data, but I can't help doing the same with my system.
Am I doing something wrong, or this feature is not public ??
Are there plans to support this feature, that would simplify login to users ?

I have always thought that a Drupal blog, with pics (avatars) enabled, looks a bit strange. This is because each post is by the same author, so you get listing of posts all with the same pictures.

Note: if the Author needs or wants his/her pic for other posts on the website, disabling globally is not an option

I am very new to RSS, and am finding it difficult to get my ideas straight on this. However, I was much excited to download version 1.0 of Firefox and discover that when I point it at the Drupal site - a little button appears at the bottom, and I can subscribe to Drupal so that the headlines appear in what Mozilla calls "live bookmarks". COOL!!!

Not sure this is the right forum but here it goes:

I have started a translation effort to port the Drupal interface to french (francais). However, last night I downloaded the webform module, a module which is not present in the CVS for translations (contributions/translations/po/fr.po).

What is the correct way to proceed when a module is not already in the fr.po file?
1) Re-export the PO file and check a new one into CVS?
2) ???
3) ..?
